“Prosperity is a way of living and thinking and not just money or things. Poverty is a way of living and thinking, and not just the lack of money or things” – Eric Butterworth (I first heard this quote from the UCKG). I’ve noticed this for myself. Not long ago I started thinking and observing how the rich are and how the poor are. I mean, talking to certain people and then observing others I inspire to be like. I noticed that the ‘rich’ are positive, they have ‘can do’ attitudes and they don’t let things or people get in their way. If someone tells them it can’t be done – they’ll prove to them that it can. These people are doers – they have vision, ideas and they act. Whereas others wait on people to bless them, always asking for help and never really believe they can do things for themselves. They are huge procrastinators and love the word, ‘tomorrow’. Unfortunately, tomorrow never comes and as I’m sure you know, someday isn’t actually a day. Basically, you can acquire, achieve and conquer anything you set your mind to – as cliche as this sounds, it’s true. Don’t forget to always act!
